Connections: Meeting Point 2025

Connections Fellowship
In 2025, MCH is piloting a new Connections Fellowship as part of our activities linked to Meeting Point. It is specifically designed for cultural practitioners who have only recently begun to explore regional networking in the arts, and have had less opportunity to build up experience of making and sustaining new connections from platforms like Meeting Point. Through mentoring and support from MCH’s Program Manager for Fellowships and Training, Jennifer Lee, we aim to empower the Fellows to take full advantage of the networking opportunities available at Meeting Point.
The Connections Fellowship includes:
- 3 peer-learning sessions with the other Connections Fellows from the same country to prepare for the Meeting Point event
- 3 x 90-minute one-to-one mentoring sessions to build confidence and skills for networking
- Fully funded participation at the Meeting Point on Art & Social Action in Asia, happening in Vientiane from October 16th-18th 2025
- Matchmaking at Meeting Point, with a target of 3-4 one-to-one meetings set up by Jennifer for each Fellow
- Promotion to all the participants at Meeting Point
- A bridgebuilding travel experience in Southeast Asia to follow up with a contact(s) made at Meeting Point
Meet the Fellows
Connections Fellows: Laos

Thanks to a collaboration with SDC Laos, we are able to support four emerging arts leaders from Laos with Connections Fellowships. Their group sessions start from August 2025, and we are so excited to be working with them.
In December 2025, the Laos Connections Fellows will visit Cambodia, where they will have the chance to reconnect with artists and organisations who will be at Meeting Point. MCH Fellow and experienced arts leader from Laos, Luck will lead their trip.
Connections Fellows: Taiwan

Thanks to a collaboration with Ministry of Culture Taiwan, we are able to invite four emerging arts leaders from Taiwan to attend the Meeting Point. Their group sessions start from August 2025, and we are so excited to be working with them.
After the Meeting Point each of the Fellows will be supported to travel to another country in Southeast Asia in order to meet and work with someone they met at Meeting Point, or to experience an event or festival they discovered through the program. These visits will take place during 2026.
