Placement of Professional Exchange 2025

About the program
MCH facilitates 3-month placement as approach to support arts practitioners from the region, can be different roles from different practice of arts, to another country in Southeast Asia. The participating practitioners and the hosts are nominated and invited by MCH and its partners.
The primary purpose is to offer a safe space for the practitioners, which may refer to physical space, emotional space, creative space or resting space. The program supports the practitioners to work as much or as little as appropriate, with no expectation of production as part of the program. Instead, MCH works with both parties to co-creates and co-defined the goals, giving the participants a self-directed space where they collaboratively determine their goals, pace, and use of time and resources with support from their local hosts and MCH team.
The output of the exchange could be open-ended but intentional decisions by the participants within the program objective, the framing and the resource MCH offers. MCH also facilitates coordination and logistics of the exchange as needed.
