Regional Representatives

From 2019 to 2022 MCH recruited 22 Regional Representatives (REPs) from our six focus countries (Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam). Their role was to bridge connections between their communities, and to work with MCH to find ways to make more exchange, learning and collaboration happen in the region. The program was designed into two seasons (2019-2020 and 2021-2022) during each the Reps would:

● Meeting Point sharing

● Taking part in Bi-monthly REPs Meeting during each two Reps took turn play a host role to share news and opportunities from their community and region and found ways to support each other’s projects and activities
● Participate in two Bridge-building exchanges. During one exchange they took turn to visit one other Rep and organised activities to connect between the two communities. There have been 20 such Bridge-building exchanges were organised which enabled each Rep to gain a deep understanding of the other’s local art and culture community context.
● Getting involve in activities specially designed by MCH for each season for example CREATIVE ACTIONS in Meeting Point 2021 that reveal their local contexts.

These activities created a platform where experienced practitioners to share personal experiences, learn about the other local art and culture community, exchange skills, resources, thereby helping MCH in futher developing a network of practitioners with close and sustainable relationships.
