Born in 1985. Lin, Chen-wei works as a visual artist, visual art critic, performance art critic and community art festival curator since 2014( Longtan / Xingwu district in Taoyuan County, Taiwan) He is member of Outsiders Factory( independent curator group in Taipei) . His essays and criticisms published over 20 kinds of magazines and media in Taiwan , Singapore and Macau, Such as Artist, ARTITUDE, Art. Investment, Art Plus1and4-Way Voice. Also in oversea magazines: such as Theatrex Asia (Singapore) and Performing Art Forum (Macau), etc. Lin’s research focuses on migration and festive arts. From 2015-2016, He was the project manager of 4 Way-Voice Newspaper(¶fi , focus on Southeast Asian migrant workers in Taiwan),journalist, and also the co-founder of “2015 Taoyuan Station Southeast Asian Migration & Community Art Festival”.Lin is now a Ph. D student majoring in urban planning, Graduate School of Building and Planning , National Taiwan University(NTU) since 2017.
