WU Ke-Wei is based in Guantian, Tainan, Taiwan. He works as a researcher, artist, graphic designer, and writer. His artistic practice spans artistic book, community art, fiction, and photography, with a focus on local communities and agriculture—particularly the relationship between farming methods, environmental ethics, and taskscapes (e.g. Co-Farming Project, Burning Island Travel Guide [created with TSAI Yu-Jou]). His research explores the political economy of degrowth, examining alternative economic models and seeking diverse systems of value exchange.
