Miko Lagman came from the Philippines. She is a licensed teacher by profession; being an Instructional Manager under the Department of Education's Alternative Learning System program, where she facilitate classes for out-of-school youth and adults in Manila. She is also a producer and researcher. The projects she works on are stories about human resilience and empowerment amidst adversity, through documentaries and advocacy videos.
