Bio: Thy (Tee) Nguyen, a Vietnamese filmmaker and visual artist based in Saigon. Thy is in the making of her first feature documentary titled "The Living Room War." This film delves into the intergenerational transfer of traumas, exploring the experiences of three generations of women in Thy's own family. As a filmmaker, granddaughter, and Vietnamese woman, Thy embarks on a personal journey of seeking liberation from this cycle. "The Living Room War" presents a poignant coming-of-age narrative that poses the thought-provoking question: Can healing one's family ultimately mend their own life?
