Asio LIU Chi-Hsiung (mimeo.org) works as a Taipei-based freelancing DP/ director in film productions. His debut experimental film AND SHE WASN'T (2001) was shown in Sundance Film Fest, and documentary work EXOTIC EXOTICISM (2007) included in MoMA 2009 Documentary Fortnight. His latest work JOURNEY TO THE PROMISED ISLAND (2015) included in an archive of the exhibition histories of nine Asian countries in Gwangju ACC. He is now shooting "PLACE OF EXCEPTION: Penghu Vietnamese Refugee Camps in Taiwan Strait", which is a documentary project initiated by an unknown Cambodian girl in his dreams.
