Sopheap Im serves as the Chief People Officer at Digital Divide Data (DDD), a global technology
social enterprise that creates pathways to formal employment through training and impact-driven
work. Operating in Cambodia, Laos, and Kenya, DDD empowers underserved youth by combining
skill development with meaningful job opportunities.
In her role, Sopheap leads DDD’s global People Operations strategy, ensuring the development,
engagement, and well-being of a diverse international workforce. She oversees talent management,
leadership development, organizational culture, and HR compliance while advising the executive
team and board on strategic people-related initiatives. Her leadership is central to fostering an
inclusive and mission-aligned culture that supports DDD’s continued growth and social impact.
Sopheap began her journey with DDD in 2004 as an Associate and has since progressed through
key leadership roles spanning project management, operations, people development, learning and
development, and fundraising. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting from the
University of Management and Economics in Cambodia, and a Master’s degree in International
Management from Portland State University, USA.
