Somrak Sila is a Bangkok-based socio-political curator and co-founder of WTF Café & Gallery (2010–2022). Holding an MA from Goldsmiths, University of London, her career includes roles at the British Council and consultancy for the UNHCR, building platforms where art intersects with activism. Her practice focuses on challenging polarization, amplifying marginalized voices, and addressing issues of human rights and censorship.
In 2022, she founded the LIMBO Collective, a Chiang Mai–based Thai-Myanmar artists and creative loose community employing creative praxis as resistance and fostering cultural sovereignty for displaced artists. She is also an author and convenor of the curators’ workshop Fugitive Acts: Art and Politics for the 13th Berlin Biennale (2025).
